Whitby is set along the stunning Yorkshire coast with easy access to the rolling North York Moors which offers up a delectable selection of historic villages and picturesque scenery.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 We leave home and head south to the seaside town of Whitby.
DAY 2 A free day to enjoy Whitby and enjoy its winding cobbled lanes and bustling harbour all overlooked by the striking ruins of Whitby Abbey. Why not visit the ruins of the 7th Century Abbey , a setting in Bram Stoker’s Dracula?
DAY 3 Today we travel to Scarborough where there is plenty to see. We will have some free time to enjoy this seaside town before visiting Filey, once a fishing village, it has a large beach and has become a popular tourist resort before returning to Whitby.
DAY 4 We depart Whitby on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and are transported back in time as we steam through 24 miles of beautiful countryside to the pretty historical village of Pickering. After some free time in Pickering we head for the market town of Malton on the River Derwent. We will have time at leisure to wander round the independent shops, artisan producers and tasty eateries – referred to as “Yorkshire’s Food Capital” before returning back to Whitby.
DAY 5 We leave the seaside and head home today.
