This welcoming river cruise ship is perfect from which to enjoy your cruise. The ship has a spacious lounge, bar area, restaurant and sundeck. There is just 2 decks with a small lift to both passenger decks and a stair lift to the sun deck. All cabins are outward facing and comfortably equipped with lower twin beds and private facilities.

DAY 1 From home area to Hull for overnight crossing to Rotterdam. We have included dinner on board and outside lower berth cabins.
DAY 2 Breakfast is included on board before we depart Rotterdam and head into Germany where we have an overnight stay at The Mercure Hotel, Eschborn.
DAY 3 Travel to Austria today, arriving in Linz where you join your vessel, the MV Esmeralda. Enjoy a Welcome Cocktail prior to dinner on board.
DAY 4 Our ship departs Linz before breakfast and you will enjoy a full day cruising on the Danube. Plenty of time to relax and admire the passing scenery. The ship arrives in Vienna in the early evening.
DAY 5 After breakfast spend the day exploring Vienna. The Capital of Austria - Six centuries of Imperial Habsburg rule have left an incredible mark on Vienna, which is noted for its art, culture, architecture and coffee shops. Lying in the Danube Valley at the foot of the Vienna Woods, the city offers many wondrous sights. This evening the cruise vessel departs for an overnight sailing to Budapest.
DAY 6 We arrive in Budapest this morning. Free time to explore this stunning city known as the Pearl on the Danube, Buda and Pest are contrasting halves with the old quarter of Buda and the more modern Pest, eight bridges spanning the Danube River link the two halves to each other. Visit some of the fine sights which are reminders of the city’s imperial past under the Austro- Hungarian Empire. This evening your cruise vessel departs for Bratislava.
DAY 7 Spend the morning relaxing on board as your cruise ship will arrive in Bratislava around lunchtime. This afternoon is free for you to enjoy this wonderful city.
DAY 8 Our ship will cruise early morning making its way to Durnstein in Austria, time to relax and enjoy the scenery. Upon arrival free time to stroll through this wonderful medieval town which is overlooked by the ruins of the castle where in 1192 King Richard I of England was held captive by the Duke of Austria during his return from the crusades.
DAY 9 This morning the ship will cruise early morning making its way to Melk. Option here to join a local coach and enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful Benedictine Abbey overlooking the town of Melk. This evening enjoy on board the Captain’s Farewell dinner.
DAY 10 Time to depart after breakfast. You will disembark in Linz and make your way back to your overnight hotel again at the Mercure Hotel, Eschborn.
DAY 11 After breakfast continue north to the port of Rotterdam for your return overnight crossing back to the UK. We have included dinner on board and outside lower berth cabins.
DAY 12 Breakfast is included on board before we depart the ship and make our way home.

PLEASE NOTE: Not recommended for passengers with walking problems: The stairs between decks can be steeper than normal due to standard ship designand might be deemed unsuitable for passengers with walking difficulties. There is a stair lift form main prom deck and from main deck to the restaurant on lower deck. Getting on and off the boat is not easy for someone with mobility problems and sometimes where the boat docks there can be a walk to the town or other ships docked alongside the boat which the passengers will need to travel through.
