DAY 1 We make our way to Ullapool for our late afternoon ferry crossing to Stornoway before checking in to the Caladh Inn for a late dinner.
DAY 2 Our excursion today takes us to the West of Lewis accompanied by a local guide, visiting the Callanish Stones, which rank only second to Stonehenge, the Black House at Arnol and Shawbost. Weather permitting, we will have a stop at the glorious Atlantic beach at Uig.
DAY 3 Today we travel through four of the Outer Hebridean Islands, Lewis, Harris, North Uist and finally Benbecula, where we find our base for the next two nights, the Dark Island Hotel.
DAY 4 Today we are accompanied by a local guide and travel by causeway to the Island of Eriskay then board the ferry to the Isle of Barra returning in the evening to the Dark Island Hotel.
DAY 5 We catch the morning ferry from Lochmaddy to Uig before continuing south through the Isle of Skye to Armadale then crossing back to the mainland at Mallaig. We travel the “Road to the Isles” to the Fort William area for our final night.
DAY 6 After some free time in Fort William we head home.
