DAY 1 We travel to Cairnryan to board our 1630 hrs ferry to Larne and then to our overnight stay at The Stormont Hotel in Belfast.
DAY 2 Begin today with one of the most rewarding coastal drives in Ireland as you travel up the Antrim Coast to the legendary Giants Causeway. There is a shuttle bus which will take you from the Visitor Centre to the Causeway, the cost is approximately £2.50 (not included). We then head to Coleraine and board the train for Londonderry. The track runs alongside beautiful beaches and through Ireland’s longest railway tunnels. The coach will be waiting to take you to Letterkenny for the next three nights.
DAY 3 Discover the delightful coast and countryside of Co. Donegal, beginning with a trip to Glenveagh Castle. It lies half hidden in woodland at the edge of a lake in a protected national park that is home to the largest herd of red deer in Ireland. We will also visit the Glenveagh Visitor Centre before heading on to the dramatic west coast then down through the Blue Stack Mountains before returning to Donegal town.
DAY 4 Today we head for Londonderry on the banks of the River Foyle, the only complete walled city in Irelandwhere a local guide will meet us and take us for a visit to Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland followed by a walking tour of Londonderry.
DAY 5 We make our way back to Belfast to our overnight hotel,the Stormont Hotel.
DAY 6 After breakfast we make our way to Larne to board the 1030 hrs sailing to Cairnryan.
