DAY 1 We leave home and travel to Peebles.
Day 2 Today our excursion takes us to Hawick where we will have some free time before continuing on to Abbotsford House and Gardens, home of Sir Walter Scott which is stunningly located on the banks of the River Tweed.
DAY 3 Today we visit the Museum of Flight at East Fortune. Here we can see the history of aviation from a Pitcher Hawk Hang Glider dating from 1896 to the Supersonic Concorde. We will then visit North Berwick.
DAY 4 We visit the historic town of Kelso today, regarded as one of the region’s most charming towns with its cobbled streets, elegant Georgian buildings and French styled cobbled market square before enjoying an afternoon visit to stately Floors Castle with its collection of fine art, porcelain, tapestries, grand rooms and wonderful gardens.
DAY 5 Homeward bound today, we make our way to Tweedbank where we board the recently opened Borders Railway to Edinburgh where the coach will be to meet you before continuing home.
