DAY 1 We leave home and travel south to Northern England for our overnight stay.
DAY 2 We leave our hotel after breakfast and travel to Weston Super Mare with an en-route visit to Cheltenham.
DAY 3 We have a day at Leisure to enjoy this charming seaside town.
DAY 4 Our excursion today takes us to the town of Glastonbury with its long history and rich traditions and reputed burial place of King Arthur before continuing on to the city of Wells at the foot of the Mendip Hills.
DAY 5 We make our way to the market town of Bridgewater before travelling along the coast to Minehead, a lovely seaside town overlooking the Bristol Channel and on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
DAY 6 We depart our hotel and make our way to the World Heritage Site of the City of Bath. Our first stop is at the ancient Roman Baths. The Baths themselves are below the modern street level and the buildings above street level date from the 19th Century. After our visit here, we have time for lunch (not included) and a stroll around this ancient city before returning to the hotel.
DAY 7 We bid farewell to Weston and travel north to our overnight hotel in Northern England.
DAY 8 We travel homeward.
